I'm a senior Elixir developer and course creator. I'm passionate about software architecture, product engineering, and sharing knowledge.
I'm also working on yellowspaceship.com, a platform for selling video courses.

I use a Sony ZV-E10 camera. It's a relatively inexpensive camera that provides exceptional video quality and auto-focusing capabilities.
I pair the camera with a Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens which is really clear and provides just a little bit of background blur, but not too much.
I use the Shure SM7B which is a really popular microphone for producing professional sounding content. It has a nice bass-heavy sound that I really like.
I run the microphone into a Rode Streamer X interface which also allows me to add some EQ and effects to the audio.
I use a Godox SL60W with a softbox as my main light. I prefer it over LED panels because the light source is softer and reduces the amount of glare. I use another Godox SL60W without the softbox as a "hair light" behind me.
In the background, I'm using a Philips Hue edison bulb to add some ambient lighting and a Philips Hue Play to add some color on my shelves.
